Services Provided: Six of eight Northern Pueblos- Pojoaque, Tesuque, Nambe,
San Juan, San Ildefonso, and Picuris. Assists Law Enforcement with child
abuse investigations occurring on tribal lands, child welfare, and technical
assistance to Tribal Tewa workers. Tribal enrolled members residing on
reservations located within the Eight Northern Pueblos. Enrolled Tribal
members with identical service area- must meet income guidelines for
financial assistance.There is no cost to clients. Hours are Mon. - Fri.,
7:30 am. - 4:30 pm. English and Tewa are spoken.

placement of children in foster homes when appropriate and refer families
for treatment. Adult/child protective services investigate adult/ child
abuse and provide homecare services for the elderly. Homemaker services,

Services Provided: 24 hour, 800 number crisis hotline, safe for victims of
family violence, sexual assault and/or stalking their children; counseling,
both peer and professional, individual and group, for victims of violence,
their children, and abusers; Medical, legal, social service advocacy
including assistance to obtain orders of protection, court preparation and
accompaniment; transportation to access needed services; school based
violence prevention presentations and programs; presentations/training’s for
professionals, church and civic groups and the community at large. Clients
must be a Victim
or family member of a victim of a violent crime. English and Spanish are
spoken. Serving: Rio Arriba County, Los Alamos, and Northern Santa Fe
Counties. Help immigrants and victims get legal status. Office hours are

Services Provided: Client/family service assessment, client service
management, in-person crisis intervention, assistance in completing
documents, individual and group peer counseling, and therapy for victims of
domestic violence, their children, their assailants and other involved
family members, psychological testing and appraisals are available as
required by court order recommended by staff or requested by client. Assault
behavior is physical, sexual and psychological (threats forced degradation
and control, attacks on self-esteem, intentional terrorization and
deprivation) battering.
