The Northern New Mexico Rural/Frontier Women’s Health Coordinating
Center (RFCC) is one of 11 National RFCC's
supported by the federal Office of Women’s Health (OWH). The RFCCs are among five programs
that make up the
OWH’s Multidisciplinary Models for Women’s Health. The goal of the national RFCC
network is to extend the best scientific knowledge and
practices in women’s health to the farthest reaches of the
health care delivery system. In
Northern New Mexico, our mission is to reduce the health problems that women living in our
communities face due to lack of information, support, and access to
quality women’s health-related services and providers. We work towards
that mission through building projects, collaborations and networks
across our service region in these five areas:
